I don't know where you are, but wherever, it's pretty unlikely that a purebred breeder allowed one of her cats to get loose, let alone a kitten. I believe there are only a few breeders located in the USA for instance. Good breeders keep good tabs on their kitties.

But most of the cats are mixed thats why we see so many "chartreux like" cats (i mean the gray coloring) and im pretty sure they have some chartreux reletives, thats why they look like that.
