An interior drainage system consisting of a dimple core that can be cut to desired width on site and installed against a foundation wall and bent on top of the footing prior to the placement of the basement slab. This provides an opening for water to escape to the gravel fill under the basement slab.

An interior weeping tile system is also referred to as an internal perimeter drain system. This system is a method of waterproofing foundation walls from the inside as an alternative to foundation excavation and waterproofing. Interior weeping tile systems are mostly installed to waterproof leaking concrete block foundations.

If these measures fail, you may have to install an interior drain tile and sump basin. The corrugated floor edging catches water running down the inside of the foundation wall and seeping under it and then directs it to the drain tile. The drain tile carries the water to the sump basin, where an electric pump automatically discharges it.

The interior drain tile system collects water under and around your basement and directs it to your basement’s sump pit. You can install an interior system in three ways: above the concrete slab, within the slab’s edge, or below the slab. A perforated pipe is laid in a bed of washed stone under your basement floor.
