'The A-Team' served as the lead single from his debut studio album '+' and the single sold 58,000 copies in the first week, becoming a top ten hit in eight countries.

Sheeran's debut album, + (" Plus "), was released in September 2011 and topped the UK Albums Chart. It contained his first hit single "The A Team".
