IMG’s gradings have now been released in full, with St Helens leading the way as one of nine Super League clubs to achieve Grade A status. To get that ‘A’ next to your name as a club, you had to score 15 or higher out of a maximum possible 20 points.

RL Commercial Director Rhodri Jones hasn’t ruled out Super League expanding to 14 teams in the future. With nine clubs confirmed as Grade A status by IMG this Wednesday, Jones believes the process for competition expansion starts sooner than expected.

Wakefield Trinity to replace London Broncos in 2025 Super League after receiving Grade A status in the restructure of the sport.

Championship treble winners Wakefield Trinity have been confirmed as a Super League club for 2025 after the highly-anticipated IMG gradings were released this morning.

Wakefield Trinity CEO Craig Barrass insists the club are both elated and relieved after their return to Super League was officially rubber-stamped. Love Rugby League exclusively revealed on Tuesday that Trinity had been given the green light to be re-admitted back into the top-flight under IMG’s gradings for 2025.

As expected, Warrington Wolves have retained the "Grade A" they were given when IMG released indicative marks last year, with their score out of a possible 20 having risen to 16.27 from 15.75. That ranks them fourth behind St Helens (17.02), Wigan Warriors (16.91) and Leeds Rhinos (16.84).
