After a judge ruled to add a second voting location in Rowlett, Dallas County Commissioners approved the new location.

Days before early voting is set to begin, a Dallas County judge on Tuesday ordered the county to open a new polling place in Rowlett as a dispute simmers between the city and an evangelical church. Judge Rachel Craig granted a temporary order requiring the county to open a second early voting site at the Rowlett Community Center.

The judge granted a temporary restraining order and ordered the Rowlett Community Centre as an additional early voting polling location.

The city's mayor was okay with a second voting center, but Dallas County Commissioner Price was not. He warns it could open Pandora's box over the ballot box.
