The Los Angeles Dodgers began the National League Championship Series (NLCS) in impressive fashion on Sunday, routing the New York Mets 9-0 at Dodger Stadium and tying an MLB playoff record in the process.

The series heads to New York for Games 3, 4 and 5 as the Dodgers and Mets angle for a World Series against either Cleveland or the New York Yankees. Walker Buehler, who was shelled in his only postseason outing in the first-round series with San Diego, is on the mound for Los Angeles while Luis Severino gets the star for the Mets.
