A building that's housed a community grocery store for 45 years burned to the ground Saturday night. It happened just after 10 p.m. at Kinlaw's Supermarket: The Meat Store located on Sapona Road Tom Kinlaw started the business with his brother in 1979.
Owner pledges to support employees after Fayetteville supermarket fire
Kinlaw's Supermarket, also known as "The Meat Store," burned in Fayetteville on Saturday night. The family-owned grocer and restaurant on Sapona Road employs 40 people. Tommy Kinlaw committed on Monday to paying all of his employees their full salary while repairs are made.
