First Alert: The warm, dry forecast continues
While we desperately need the rain, the dry weather makes for rather nice outdoor plans. Afternoon high temperatures will continue to rise slightly each day this week, reaching the middle to upper 80s by week’s end, with morning temperatures hovering in the 50s during the night and early mornings.

The First Alert Weather Team says its partly sunny with a few showers moving inland this afternoon. It’ll be mainly dry this evening. It’s still breezy onshore winds. High risk of rip currents continue at our local beaches. Tidal flooding remains expected around the times of high tide along the St. Johns River.

The clear and crisp start to the day will give way to a warm, sunny and dry afternoon. Highs will climb into the lower to middle 80s with east winds around 5 to 10 mph. Lows will again lower into the 50s overnight with a clear sky and light winds.
