Iran's foreign minister warned Israel against launching an attack, saying on Tuesday any strike on Iranian infrastructure would be met with a stronger retaliation.

As Israelis commemorated the Oct. 7 attack that led to the war in the Gaza Strip, Hamas launched a rare rocket attack at Tel Aviv, saying it was targeting “the depths of the occupation.” The rocket strike did little damage, and hours later, Israel responded with what it said was an attack on the rocket launcher that had fired the projectiles.

Israel has not briefed the U.S. on details of its response to Iran's missile attack, even after U.S. military officials have discussed possibly supporting Israel with intel or airstrikes of their own.
