Ryan Murphy has received a lot of backlash, from both fans and Erik Menéndez himself, for "Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menéndez Story."

There may be more of Lyle and Erik Menéndez 's stories left to tell. Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story co-creator Ryan Murphy told Variety that he could envision including a few follow-up episodes to his hit series. In the show, Lyle and Erik were portrayed by General Hospital alum Nicholas Alexander Chavez and Cooper Koch.

The Menendez brothers have been given a platform on Murphy's Netflix true-crime series, and they should be grateful. They've had the chance to be tried in the court of public opinion, before their case goes back to the real courts, and Murphy thinks it could possibly set them free:
