Saquon Barkley sat on the Eagles’ bus as it entered the parking lot for his first trip as an opposing player to MetLife Stadium. He had his headphones on and was doing his best to drown out the noise — literal and figurative — before facing the New York Giants.

Daboll drew some sarcastic cheers early in the fourth quarter when he pulled quarterback Daniel Jones for Drew Lock. A battered Jones finished 14 of 21 for 99 yards, with rookie receiver Malik Nabers catching four for 41 yards.

When former Giants star and rejuvenated Eagles running back Saquon Barkley arrived at MetLife Stadium at the Meadowlands as a visiting player on Sunday, it did not take long for something to catch his eye. Even sitting on the bus as the Eagles pulled into the loading dock, he could see tailgaters with his old No. 26 jerseys.
