Varun Dhawan's Baby John struggled at the box office with a first-week earning of Rs 32.65 crore despite a slight improvement on day seven. The film, directed by Kalees, competed against major releases like Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 and Disney's Mufasa.

According to the tracking website Sacnilk, the film registered a business of ₹ 32.31 crore (nett). As per the report, the action thriller has been performing poorly at the box office continuously for seven days in a row since its release. On the seventh day, Baby John earned around ₹ 1.81 crore in India (nett) as per early estimates.

The latest update states that Baby John has collected ₹ 28.51 crore in its first five days. Baby John collected ₹ 11.25 crore on its first day of release and saw a sharp day from day two, barely picking up in the subsequent days. The report states that the Varun Dhawan-starrer had 16.76 per cent Hindi Occupancy on its first Sunday.
