A downtown Atlanta hotel was evacuated Friday after a suspected carbon monoxide leak that sent five people to hospitals to be evaluated, authorities said.

ATLANTA — The Atlanta Fire Rescue Department says a carbon monoxide incident is underway at a downtown Atlanta hotel. AFRD confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that it has responded to the Residence Inn on Peachtree Street NW. No other details have been made available. It’s unclear if there are any injuries.
