The legendary EMI TG12345 prototype was restored to original working condition after being unused for more than 50 years

The legendary, one-of-one EMI TG1234 recording console that The Beatles used to record the Abbey Road album will be for sale on Reverb, starting on October 29. The announcement reads:

Custom-built for Abbey Road Studios (then known as EMI Studios) in 1968, the EMI TG 12345 MK1 was installed in Abbey Road's Studio 2 control room and used by George Martin and Geoff Emerick to record The Beatles' final album the following year,

The custom-made recording console used on the Beatles' last recorded album and the members' early solo recordings has been completely restored and will be for sale on Reverb, the online music marketplace Reverb starting on Oct.

Beatles fans from across the world are almost guaranteed to come together—at least virtually—for this upcoming sale. The recording console that the Fab Four used to record their iconic album Abbey Road is about to hit the market at Reverb.
