The No. 26 jerseys and T-shirts were doused with lighter fluid and draped on a fence in the MetLife Stadium parking lot. Mike Carpentieri and his pals have tailgated in lot D-10 for years, so they knew the Philadelphia Eagles team buses would drive directly pass them on Sunday afternoon as they arrived for this game against the Giants.

When former Giants star and rejuvenated Eagles running back Saquon Barkley arrived at MetLife Stadium at the Meadowlands as a visiting player on Sunday, it did not take long for something to catch his eye. Even sitting on the bus as the Eagles pulled into the loading dock, he could see tailgaters with his old No. 26 jerseys.

Saquon Barkley didn't think he'd have a "great reception" when returning to MetLife Stadium on Sunday to play against his former team the New York Giants. But he surely didn't expect what he did get when arriving in New York with his new team, the Philadelphia Eagles.
