NFL regular season nears its end, Steelers' TJ Watt is seen as the favorite to win the DPOY, but injury has made it a closer race
Steelers pass rusher T.J. Watt says we’ll have to wait and see when asked about playing against the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday
An NFL insider provided the final injury status of Pittsburgh Steelers stars T.J. Watt and George Pickens in Week 16 vs the Baltimore Ravens.
T.J. Watt went down with an injury in the team's 27-13 loss to the Eagles in Philadelphia, adding insult to injury on a day to forget. The one-man wrecking crew put his stamp on the game, but it's the injury that will leave the lasting image, especially as the Steelers inch toward the playoffs.
The Pittsburgh Steelers will have outside linebacker T.J. Watt against the Baltimore Ravens. Watt will play after suffering a low ankle sprain against the Philadelphia Eagles. While Watt is tender and still hobbling around,

PHILADELPHIA -- Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt went down with an injury against the Philadelphia Eagles. Watt was being blocked and was trying to bend around the edge but came up lame halfway through the rep. He went down in pain, but limped off the field with help. Watt went into the medical tent with the injury.
The Steelers will have to do without star receiver George Pickens (hamstring) and quarterback Justin Fields (abdominal) on Saturday. Safety DeShon Elliott (hamstring) is doubtful, and cornerback Donte Jackson (back) and defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi (groin) are both questionable.
While Watt and the Steelers are accustomed to be being at the mercy of the NFL schedule makers — Pittsburgh is playing on five days' rest instead of the normal six because it is also hosting Kansas City on Christmas Day — he demurred when asked if he was frustrated that he's being forced to deal with an injury during a truncated portion of season.
With the Pittsburgh Steelers playing the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday, the game status report came out a day early. There was plenty of bad news on the report but at least one piece of good news. Injured outside linebacker T.J. Watt, who had been limited all week with an ankle injury had no injury designation.
The Pittsburgh Steelers desperately needed star edge rusher T.J. Watt to make his mark during the Week 16 game against the Baltimore Ravens. However, Watt has been quiet over the first two quarters, and the Ravens' offense has thrived as a result.
