The Lubbock Police Department has confirmed that the two individuals who lost their lives were Bobby Moreno, 38 years old, and Cruz Moreno, 40 years old, after a North Lubbock on Saturday evening.

Two people have died after a crash Saturday night along Interstate 27 in north Lubbock. According to police, officers responded at 8:35 p.m. to a report of a crash with injuries at I-27 and Regis Street.

Lubbock Police were called to the 4800 block of North Interstate-27 at 8:37 p.m. on October 19th for a report of a collision with injuries. Upon arrival, officers located two individuals who were later identified as 38-year-old Bobby Moreno, and 40-year-old Cruz Moreno, deceased at the scene.

It was a deadly weekend for motorcyclists in Minnesota, with three killed in as many crashes on Friday and Saturday. The first happened Friday night on Interstate 35W in Minneapolis, where a motorcycle rider collided with a Toyota Camry merging onto the highway near Washington Avenue South.

A crash on Interstate 35 has taken the life of a motorcycle driver in Minneapolis Friday night. According to a crash report from the Minnesota State Patrol, 61-year-old Gordon Wayne Zieman was killed after being involved in a crash with another vehicle.

The motorcycle collided with a car trying to turn out of a business and onto Route 6, according to state police.
