U.S. charges former Indian official Vikash Yadav for leading a foiled murder plot against Khalistani separatist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun. Yadav, arrested in India in December for related crimes, allegedly orchestrated the plot while working with associates in India and abroad.

The FBI has issued a wanted poster for Vikash Yadav, a former Indian government employee, linked to a foiled assassination plot against US citizen Gurpatwant Singh Pannun.

Vikash Yaday was reportedly arrested by Delhi Police’s Special Cell in an extortion case in December 2023, less than three weeks after the US Department of Justice identified him as "CC-1", a co-conspirator, last November for allegedly plotting to murder Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun.
