After more than two days of burning, the Berlin brush fire has grown to roughly 65 acres, according to officials on scene Wednesday.

A brush fire that began on Lamentation Mountain in Berlin has spread to about 80 acres, including into Meriden, authorities said, and left one firefighter dead.

BERLIN, Conn. (WTNH) — After more than two days of burning, the Berlin brush fire has grown to roughly 125 acres in size, according to officials on scene Wednesday. When it first started Monday evening, officials estimated it was roughly 10 to 15 acres.
