Severe weather outbreak possible overnight in Alabama; 2 tornado watches now in effect
NOAA’s Storm Prediction Center was maintaining a Level 4 out of 5 (moderate) risk for severe weather for part of west Alabama overnight. A larger area in west Alabama has a Level 3 (enhanced risk), and nearly all of the rest of the state had a Level 2 (slight) risk. (See the severe weather outlook at the top of this post.)
