The legendary EMI TG12345 prototype was restored to original working condition after being unused for more than 50 years

The legendary recording console used on The Beatles' Abbey Road is going up for sale on gear marketplace Reverb. Custom-built for Abbey Road Studios (then known as EMI Studios) in 1968, the EMI TG 12345 MK1 was installed in Abbey Road's Studio 2 control room and used by George Martin and Geoff Emerick to record The Beatles' final album the following year,

The legendary, one-of-one EMI TG1234 recording console that The Beatles used to record the Abbey Road album will be for sale on Reverb, starting on October 29. The announcement reads:

Lucinda Williams will release a new cover album, Lucinda Williams Sings the Beatles From Abbey Road, on Dec. 6, 2024. Williams' LP includes 11 of the 17 songs that appeared on the Beatles ' original album, recorded at the same titular London studio.

The custom-made recording console used on the Beatles' last recorded album and the members' early solo recordings has been completely restored and will be for sale on Reverb, the online music marketplace Reverb starting on Oct.
