Beloved ‘60s soul singer Brenton Wood, best known for his hit “The Oogum Boogum Song,” has died. He was 83. The musician died from natural causes in his sleep Friday at his home in Moreno Valley, California where he was surrounded by family, his manager and assistant Manny Gallegos told Variety.
