Tyler Reddick's crash during the South Point 400 in Las Vegas ended his race and jeopardized his playoff advancement.

Joey Logano won the NASCAR playoff race Sunday at Las Vegas, becoming the first driver to clinch a berth in the championship race.

Joey Logano left the Charlotte Roval outside of the Round of 8, and he leaves Las Vegas on Sunday with a locked-in spot in the Championship 4. Logano saved enough fuel and just enough time to hold off Christopher Bell and win the South Point 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway to advance to Phoenix.

Christopher Bell captured his third pole position of the season and third at Las Vegas Motor Speedway as Toyotas swept the front row for the Round of 8 opener. Tyler Reddick qualified second, followed by Alex Bowman and Denny Hamlin as playoff drivers took three of the first four spots.

Tyler Reddick, a playoff driver for 23XI Racing, was involved in a scary wreck, which saw his car flip over while sliding on the grass at Las Vegas.

Unfortunately, damage to the No. 45 23XI Racing Toyota from the flip was too much, leading the Regular Season Champion to retire from the race, the driver is okay.
