The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) completely denied reports suggesting the Champions Trophy 2025 final will be shifted to Dubai if the Indian cricket team qualifies for the summit clash.

Given India's ambiguous position on visiting Pakistan for the marquee event, the Champions Trophy is highly uncertain.

This tournament marks Pakistan's first global ICC event since 1996 and is significant for the country. Pakistan enters the competition as defending champions, having beaten India in the 2017 Champions Trophy final at The Oval.

Team India's participation in the 2025 IC Champions Trophy , set to be hosted by Pakistan, continues to be a hot topic. As per a recent report by Telegraph.co.uk, the final of the 50-over tournament can be shifted to Dubai if India qualify for the same.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has strongly denied reports from Telegraph suggesting that the final of the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy could be moved away from Pakistan if India qualifies. Reiterating its commitment, the PCB confirmed that all tournament matches, including the final, will be hosted within Pakistan.

With the schedule and venues of the Champions Trophy 2025 yet to be finalized, India visiting Pakistan looks highly unlikely at this stage. According to a report by The Telegraph.co.uk, the final of the tournament could take place in Dubai should India make it, with the Men in Blue also likely to play all their group-stage matches in that venue.

At present, the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore is slated to host the Champions Trophy final on 9 March but the title clash could reportedly move out of Pakistan if India qualify.

Mohsin Naqvi said that all teams including India will participate in the event and does not see them "cancel or postpone" their trip

Next year’s Champions Trophy final could be switched from Lahore to Dubai if India qualify, creating the possibility that there will be no certainty over the venue until days before the final.
