PARIS — French league leader Monaco was held to a 0-0 draw at home to Lille on Friday after making life difficult for itself by having to play the last half hour with 10 men.

Monaco were reduced to 10 men in the 61st minute when defender Jordan Teze was sent off for a foul on Lille substitute Gabriel Gudmundsson. Lille goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier pulled off a great save to keep the score level in stoppage time when he denied an effort from midfielder Denis Zakaria from inside the box.

French Ligue 1 leaders Monaco settled for a goalless draw Friday against Lille. Monaco's Dutch defender Jordan Teze was shown a red card in the 61st minute at Stade Louis II. The hosts could not score with four accurate shots, while Lille could only get one shot on goal.
