A 230-acre nature center in the middle of Central Florida, the Trout Lake Nature Center's mission is to educate about the natural environment and to protect and conserve this environment. Family, community, and children activities takes place regularly. Easy trails, education dock on the lake, natural history museum and exhibits are a few of the amenities at the Center. Created by the community over 30 years ago, the Center depends on the community volunteers along with grants and donations to continue to provide its conservation education to residents and visitors. Become a volunteer or just plain visit to enjoy nature, participate in a fun program, or walk our trails (we are dog-friendly). Entry fee is $5/vehicle. Members enter free.
