Hoping someone can help me, we’re going to be visiting Vienna in late November and just wondered what the best time of day to go to Schonbrunn palace would be (in terms of crowds, weather etc.)? And if anyone has used a Winter Pass, is it worth it and did you buy it at the palace or beforehand? I’m struggling to find a way to buy one online.

I don't read Italian either - but I can use google translate!! Your 2 year old will love the childrens museum so add that ticket on. You can dress up, play with things. Whilst visiting the main palace pop him in a back pack carrier with a favourite snack so you can enjoy it!
Did there used to be an amusement park with rides attached to the palace? I visited the palace in 1999 and also went to an amusement park the same day which I'm confident was within the grounds...
A:
There is a zoo within the park and there are mazes, not sure where they'd fit an amusement park in, but if there was one, there isn't one there now.
Is there any restriction on Tripod using outside Schonbrunn, Hofburg and Belvedere? I travel alone and want to take some photo of myself with that but not sure about security requirements in Vienna
A:
No restrictions on using a tripod outside the palace.
