WEBI think it's just you. The menu screen shows your character looking awsum in a 360-degree-panning landscape. It's ver' nice. Oh, and it has menu commands, too.

WEBJan 27, 2014 · It looks like the Highlands at first but as it scrolls around, it shows tons of other landscapes. I think it's just to showcase what types of terrain there are in the game. Main menu is custom built to hint at some of the cool areas of the game you might be visiting. Also, Claptrap does silly things, so that's a bonus.

WEBJul 10, 2019 · I have had this question in the back of my mind every single time I looked at the main menu for years. I assumed it wasn't a reachable place in game since you can see most of the main landmarks from that one spot, so as disappointing as it is that you can't go there, it's very satisfying to see it represented in game.

WEBOct 21, 2019 · This i assume is a bug of some sort but this fixed it for me! StartupResolutionX=0. StartupResolutionY=0. After you have done all of this, changing your resolution in game will display the correct resolution numbers now instead of saying either Undefined or a random resolution number!

WEBYes, but you can't pan the menu around to see the rest of it. You can only tilt it, and some parts of the menu are REALLY annoying to read if you you split the screen vertically.
